Teresa Stoltz | Principal
Teresa is the founder and principal lawyer at Law Corner. She believes that the personal touch should always be at the heart of legal services. Clients recommend her for her warm and professional approach, clear communication, and understanding of complex family situations.
Teresa is a Marton local with connections to Palmerston North and Pahiatua. With over 25 years’ experience across property and family law, she is known for her reassuring and practical approach. Her community focus shines through public speaking, and serving on local committees and boards.

Harriet Dawson-Farrell | Solicitor
Harriet joined the Law Corner team in 2025. She is a cheerful and friendly part of the team. Before becoming a lawyer, Harriet gained legal experience in property and family law in the wider region. She also has a background in business management and marketing.
Harriet assists our clients with residential property sales and purchases. She particularly enjoys making the process as straightforward as possible for first home buyers. Melanie | Legal Secretary
Melanie joined Law Corner as a Legal Secretary in early 2025, when the firm was established. She works closely with our lawyers to ensure clients are well looked after. Her kind nature and strong administrative background make her an invaluable part of the team.
Melanie is working towards a Diploma in Legal Executive Studies. She enjoys connecting with clients and celebrating successes. Clients credit her for her friendly and supportive nature.
